David Mooney and Adam Barrett score for Southend to beat MillwallGoals either side of the break from David Mooney and Adam Barrett secured a vital three points in a 2-0 win for Southend United at Millwall.David Worrall flashed an early volley wide for Southend, but it was Millwall who enjoyed the best of the chances.Last weekend's hat-trick hero Aiden O'Brien headed straight at Shrimpers keeper Daniel Bentley after being picked out by Jimmy Abdou.Steve Morison headed into the side-netting after rising to meet Shaun Williams' corner at the near post and only the quick thinking of Bentley denied O'Brien after the young striker had latched onto Morison's throw in.However, it was Southend who broke the deadlock after 37 minutes as Worrall's delivery was headed past Jordan Archer by Mooney. The advantage was doubled four minutes into the second half and again Millwall were undone by a header, Barrett meeting Michael Timlin's pinpoint cross to give Archer no chance.Bentley was called into action again to push away Morison's angled effort and the keeper had to get down low to prevent O'Brien converting from close range. And Southend's number one came to the rescue again two minutes from time by tipping behind Williams 25 yard shot to ensure there were no late scares for Phil Brown's side
