Bradford and Millwall will have to slug it out again to see whose name goes in the hat for the third round of the FA Cup after a dire match at Valley Parade finished goalless.
Neither side could find a much needed moment of inspiration to secure a money-spinning draw against one of the Premiership's big boys in the next round.
City's flying winger Jermaine Johnson did his best to add some sparkle to a dull encounter and came closest to breaking the deadlock with a first-half thunderbolt.
He skipped past two defenders before exchanging a clever one-two with Eddie Johnson and his 25-yard right foot shot seemed destined for the bottom corner.
But the ball hit the post, cannoned off the back of the diving goalkeeper and hit the crossbar before it was cleared off the line by Paul Robinson.
Ten minutes later it was Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's turn to be thwarted by the upright. His 25-yard free-kick left goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley rooted to the spot but the ball clipped the post and went wide.
The visitors had also been wasteful in front of goal with Ben May and teenage striker Chris Zebroski putting free headers over the bar.
City keeper Donovan Ricketts was then called into action to deny Zebroski just before the break.
The second half was an instantly forgettable affair with neither side possessing the cunning, skill or guile to create a goal scoring opportunity.
The home supporters became increasingly frustrated as they watched their side constantly give the ball away.
Millwall's Maurice Ross had half a chance to steal the game at the death but his volley from the edge of the box sailed over the stand and summed the game up.
Both these sides are currently struggling in League One and it was easy to see why.
Those hardy fans who are brave enough to attend the replay will at least see a result one way or the other, although the other sides in the third round draw will hardly be quaking at the prospect of facing these two sides.
