With so many players out injured, manager Dennis Wise has opted to give youth a chance and called up striker Mark Quiqley and defender Tim Clancy to the First Team squad.

Both players featured heavily in The Lions' pre-season campaign but this is the first time that either of them have made the senior squad.

Speaking to the club's official site, Wise commented, "I've brought a couple of young lads into the squad because of the injury situation here, and if either of them get their chance I'm hoping they'll take it and It may well be that one of them will be on the bench.

"Mark Quigley is still very young and has a lot to learn, but he's a promising player and might surprise a few people. Tim has had a spell on loan with Steve Claridge down at Weymouth this season. We've also got Marvin Elliott in the squad who has already had a taste of the first team."
