Wise set to return

Millwall player-boss Dennis Wise could make his first start in nearly three weeks against Wimbledon tonight after being cleared to play after a knee injury which required stitches.

Wise, who was on the bench during the 4-1 victory over West Ham United at the weekend, may replace Andy Roberts or decided to stick with the same team that rolled over their East London neighbours.

Darren Ward, Tony Warner and Mark McCammon are available after injury and Danny Dichio is also in the frame after recovering from food poisoning although Everton loan-signing is pushing for a starting-place after impressive second half display against The Hammers.

New Wimbledon loan signing Gary Smith is in contention to make his debut while Jamie Mackie and Wayne Gray may start on the bench, but Dean Lewington (ban), Wade Small (groin) and Dean Holdsworth (knee) are definitely ruled out.
