After the emotion and euphoria of yesterday afternoon comes the unwelcome news that the Football Association may withdraw Millwall's UEFA Cup spot because manager Dennis Wise doesn't have the relevant coaching badges required for the competition.
Wise, who became a football manager much earlier than he expected, was set to take his coaching qualifications during the summer, but unless the FA fast-track his application, he will not qualify in time for next season's competition.
Alternatively, the Football Association can write to UEFA, granting permission for the club to take their place in Europe, but that is unlikely, especially with so many Premiership teams already moaning about the current state of affairs with regards to the FA Cup.
