Millwall's search for a new manager is set to receive another set-back today with League One rivals Gillingham expected to announce former Stevenage Borough boss Mark Stimson has their new gaffer.
Interviews for the position at The Den have been taking place all week although The Lions board haven't had the best of times with Manchester City coach Kenny Jackett ruling himself out after his interview and Yeovil Town refusing the club permission to speak to their manager Russell Slade.
On top of that, Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore ruled himself out and now Birmingham City assistant manager Eric Black has done the same after being linked with the post at The Den.
No formal approach to Black had been made but the Sunday Mercury reported that the Scotsman is happy at St. Andrew's, despite speculation about a possible takeover bid.
