The burly striker, who is currently on loan at Scunthorpe United after receiving abuse from supporters after a series of woeful performances, is worried that his spell at Glanford Park may come to a premature end if and when a new manager is appointed.
"I want to stay here to be honest," he revealed to a local newspaper. "I want to stay here at the moment, do my three months, and then take it from there.
"I am playing again now, enjoying my football. I do want to get more involved in the games obviously, and play more of a part.
"I have got two or three weeks left before they can actually call me back, even though I have signed a three-month loan.
"I would like to stick that out but we will see when it happens.
"If the new manager has seen me play he might like me, or he might not like me," he continued.
