Millwall frontman John Sutton will ply his trade in the SPL in the forthcoming season after agreeing to join Dundee on loan.
Sutton, who joined The Lions from Raith Rovers earlier this year for £60,000, will replace striker Nacho Novo who today joined Glasgow Rangers. Both player and club see this as an opportunity to polish the striker's rough edges and hopefully improve his all-round game before returning to The Den.
Despite scoring sixteen goal for Raith, Sutton found first team opportunities at Millwall rare and with Bob Peeters returning from injury and another striker set to sign later in the week, manager Dennis Wise was happy to let the 20-year-old striker amke the move North of the Border in the short term.
Sutton is the second Lions striker to go out on loan, with Northern Ireland U-21 foward Kevin Braniff joining Rushden & Diamonds last month.
