Having seemingly been released last week, defender Danny Senda has been given the opportunity to earn himself a new deal at The Den by Millwall boss Kenny Jackett.
The 28-year-old had been included in a list of ten players that were told their services will no longer be required by the club, but after discussing the situation with the manager the popular defender has been given a second chance to prove his worth and earn a new deal.
"I have had a one-to-one talk with the gaffer," Senda told the Southwark News. "He said if I can walk back into the football club fit and ready to go for the new season - then we will work something out.
"I am grateful that I have got the opportunity to come back in after the summer and, if I am fit, I know I am good enough at this level and have a shout of getting back in to the set-up here."
