Trinidad & Tobago international Brent Sancho has returned to The Den for a second trial with The Lions following an unsuccessful stint with the club during the summer.
The former Gillingham defender, who has been without a club since being released by The Gills at the end of last season, has been invited back by Kenny Jackett, who is desperate to add some defensive cover to his ailing squad.
The 30-year-old played in the 2006 Word Cup for the Carribbean island and kept the likes of Henrik Larsson and Michael Owen at bay during games against Sweden and England but his playing style was recently described by one Gillingham fan as akin to "a ten-year-old chasing a tennis ball in the playground" in a magazine article.
This doesn't seemed to have deterred Jackett who told the South London Press "Brent is an experienced centre-back. We will have a look at him and see what happens."
