The 29-year-old - who was a popular figure during his stint at The Den - has joined up with St. Patrick's Athletic ahead of their pre-season training trip to Sunderland with a view to impressing manager John McDonnel and securing a permanent move.
“Robbie will come with us to Sunderland," McDonnel told the Irish Daily Star. "We haven't done anything yet. He has been training with us over the last few days but he looks fine so far.”
