And it wasn't just the Savage incident that left a bitter taste in the mouth. While Leyton Orient were allowed to get away with blatant fouls, obstructions and reckless tackles, Millwall's Marc Laird was dismissed for a challenge where he seemed to win the ball before making contact with O's midfielder JJ Melligan.
So bad was D'Urso's performance that even Leyton Orient's manager Martin Ling admitted that The Lions should have been awarded a penalty for the challenge on Savage. His Millwall counterpart was far from happy after the final whistle.
"It looked like a definite foul on Bas - I've not seen it again but that's how it looked to me," boss Kenny Jackett told the club's official site. "But there were other things in the game as well - there were some clear obstructions which should have been yellow cards.
"Then that player is on a possible red for his next foul, but the ref never game them. Obstruction takes a player out of the game so it has to be a booking."
