Millwall boss Willie Donachie has hinted that he may blood youngster Preston Edwards before the end of the season.
The highly-rated England Under-18 goalkeeper, who signed his first professional contract back in November, was part of the 16-man first team squad when The Lions played Blackpool earlier in the season and the manager feels that time could be right to give the shot-stopper his first start.
Millwall have two games left - at home to Bristol City on Saturday before completing the season away to Bradford City the following week - and with nothing left to play for, Donachie is considering trying out one or two players on the fringes of the first team to see if they sink or swim.
