PFA chief executive Gordon Taylor has confirmed that he wishes to meet with Millwall officials after newspaper reports claimed that teenage starlet Moses Ashikodi tried to attack Mark McCammon with a knife.
Ashikodi was alleged to have pulled a blade on team-mate McCammon in a training ground bust-up last Wednesday and Millwall have already launched an internal investigation into the incident.
Taylor said: “We had a meeting on Sunday and we discussed it and we will get in touch with the club later in the week.
“The club is obviously investigating it and once they have finished we will meet with people there.”
In other news, fullback Ronnie Bull has extended his loan spell with Second Division Brentford. The highly rated youngster will spend a further month with The Bees with a view to a permanent move.
