Socceroos coach Frank Farina has picked a strong squad for the two games and has also included former Lions Lucas Neill and Tim Cahill.
The first leg takes place in Honiara on Saturday, October 9th with the second match in Sydney three days later and the games will mark Muscat's return to the international scene following his long lay-off after picking up an injury in the FA Cup Semi-Final clash against Sunderland back in April.
