Morrison set to sign?

Newspaper reports and online gossip are suggesting that Stevenage Borough striker Steve Morrison could be on his way to Millwall in a deal reported to be worth around £85k.

The centre forward, who has scored an impressive 89 times in 151 starts, had been linked with The Lions during January's transfer window but nothing came of it after the Conference side apparently held out for a higher transfer fee.

However, with Stevenage failing to secure promotion a clause in Morrison's contract was triggered allowing him to leave the Broadhall Way ground. A deal is expected to be completed this week.
