The pair, both 26, admitted the offence, which took place in outside a club in London in April, after being interviewed by officers.
Referring to Ferdinand, A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "A 26-year-old man attended Kentish Town police station by appointment.
"He was arrested, interviewed and subsequently cautioned for a section 5 Public Order Act offence, which is behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress."
The spokesman later added that earlier in the month, another 26-year-old man thought to be Morris was cautioned for the same offence at the same police station.
