Millwall V Bristol City at The Den - Match Preview

Malone doubt for Lions

Millwall could be without Scott Malone for the visit of Bristol City.

The defender was replaced in the opening 20 minutes of the 1-0 defeat at Cardiff on Saturday after hurting his leg in a collision with Peter Whittingham.

Boss Kenny Jackett does not expect striker Andy Keogh to return from his toe injury against 22nd-placed City, but is hopeful he will be available for the FA Cup game with Preston at the weekend.

Winger Chris Taylor remains sidelined with the knee problem that has kept him out of the club's last two games while skipper Paul Robinson is recovering from a pelvic injury.

Millwall are looking to end a run of three games without a win.

Robins boss Derek McInnes is set to stick with Paul Anderson and Sam Baldock after the duo inspired his side to their first home win since August.

The pair, who have been far from regular starters recently, scored three goals between them in the 4-2 win over Peterborough to end a nine-game winless run at Ashton Gate.

And McInnes, who saw his side move off the foot of the npower Championship with the vital victory, is likely to give them the nod again.

Anderson's recall came at the expense of Liam Fontaine and the club captain looks set to miss out on a starting berth again.

With Ryan Taylor's return to full fitness McInnes has a number of attacking options on the bench, including Steve Davies who hit the crossbar late on having replaced Jon Stead.

Louis Carey and Danny Wilson were both missing from the 18 against Posh with hamstring injuries and it remains to be seen whether they return to the matchday squad.
