Millwall through to Quarter Finals

A goal from new signing Danny Dichio halfway through the second half was enough to ensure victory over a well-organised and combative Burnley side who were reduced to ten men late on in the game.

If it wasn't for the fine form of Brian Jensen in the Burnley goal, the Lions could have easily won the game by more, with some fantastic saves to deny the likes of Ifill, Cahill, Braniff, Lawrence and Harris from scoring.

The victory sets up a Sixth Round tie for the first time in almost twenty years, when Millwall, then of the Third Division, lost to First Division Luton Town 1-0 at Kenilworth Road - a game best remember for the unsavory riot that followed.
