The Lions, who originally played on the Isle of Dogs at a number of grounds before finding a permanent home in New Cross at The Den, only moved into their current stadium in 1993 but have been the subject of rumours about a possible move away from Zampa Road on a number of occasions in recent years.
However, once again the club were quick to rubbish the reports.
"I'm sure there will be endless rumours relating to the use of the stadium and I don't know where this one has come from," said Heather Rabbatts.
"What we have been talking to the organising committee about is sports and community education work as they look to provide a lasting legacy for London after the Games. We already have some experience in this field and our own plans for redevelopment centred around The Den."
