The Welsh Under-21 international was expected to make the grade this term, especially after early season injuries to Paul Robinson and Mark Phillips, but instead found himself out on loan to Aldershot, Dagenham & Redbridge and Swansea City.
His depature is likely to fuel rumours that Martin Keown is on his way to The Den.
