There was controversy at Northampton Town's Sixfields Stadium this afternoon when referee Ian Williamson decided to abandon Millwall's game with The Cobblers with The Lions 1-0 up.
Despite the wet conditions, there was very little water on the playing surface and the ref's decision to call the game off was met with fury from the Millwall camp, who felt the game could've continued.
Within two minutes of the final whistle blowing, the rain stopped, leaving The Lions pointless from the afternoon's efforts.
