The 29-year-old is currently with Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem, who are keen to offload from the wage bill, and is believed to have flown offer this morning to continue negotiations with The Lions.
Despite a promising start to the new campaign, manager Mark McGhee is still looking to add to his injury-hit squad and hinted at the weekend that he expects to sign at least two new faces over the next few days.
