Lions boss Mark McGhee is hoping to complete the signings of Vitesse Arnhem striker Bob Peeters and 20-year-old French winger Aboubaka Fofana from Juventus by the end of the day in an extraordinary double swoop.
Fofana has been training with the club for the past week and impressed during a behind-closed-doors friendly against Charlton but the deal has been delayed by the Italian Bank Holiday weekend.
The Millwall boss is hopeful to have the youngster in his squad in time for the home game against Crewe this weekend while forward Peters is expected to sign later this afternoon after the club agreed a fee believed to be around £500,000 with the Dutch side.
