Promising youngsters Barry Cogan, Marvin Elliott, Mark Phillips and Jason Rose have all signed new and improved deals to keep them at The Den until at least 2006.

Mark Phillips, the most experienced of the quartet, has been given the chance to re-establish himself once he recovers from injury with an improved contract that expires in the summer of 2005. Phillips' Millwall career has been plagued by injury and he is currently recovering from a knee ligament operation.

Young centre back Rose has been handed his first professional deal while winger Barry Cogan, who got a taste of first team action during pre-season, has signed until the summer of 2007.

Finally, Marvin Elliott, who made his senior debut at Nottingham Forest last April and has been in the bench in recent weeks has signed until the summer of 2006.
