The Lions had recalled McCammon as cover for their current strike force of Barry Hayles, Daniele Dichio and Scott Dobie. But with Bob Peeters returning from injury and Joe Healy knocking on the first-team door, manager Dennis Wise has allowed the striker to rejoin The Seagulls.
McCammon is expected to go straight into Brighton's team for tomorrow's clash against Leeds United.
