Millwall finally overcame non-League Staines Town with an emphatic 4-0 victory at The Den.
The two sides were forced to play again after a 1-1 draw at the Wheatsheaf Stadium that saw The Swans outplay The Lions for large parts of the game. However, there was no repeat of that fighting spirit at The Den as the home side finally put the tie to rest with goals from Steve Morison, Jack Smith, Alan Dunne and Danny Schofield.
The victory ended the run of the the lowest ranked team left in the FA Cup and sets up a Third Round tie against Championship side Derby County.
It was Morison who put The Lions on the road to victory - having fluffed a number of easy chances in the first game - with a right-footed shot just before half-time before the striker turned provider, setting up Smith to put the ball through the legs of Staines keeper Louis Wells shortly after Lewis Grabban had spurned a decent opportunity.
With ten minuted left, Alan Dunne made it 3-0 with a header from a corner before Schofield wrapped up the scoring after a quick free-kick allowed him time and space to net past the hapless Wells and send the non-League side crashing out of the competition.
