The Football Association today cleared Millwall Football Club of all the charges brought against them following scenes of crowd trouble during The Lions' Carling Cup tie against West Ham in August, 2009
Three charges were brought against the club - Violent, threatening, obscene and provocative behaviour , Racist behaviour and Throwing missiles, harmful or dangerous objects on to the pitch - but the FA's panel that looked into the disturbances decided the that they were unproven and without grounds.
West Ham United, meanwhile, were found guilty of two FA charges and will be punished by an independent commission on Friday.
One Millwall supporter was stabbed outside the ground while inside several pitch invasions marred the game, including one shortly before The Hammers' late equaliser that sent the game into extra time.
The FA convened a disciplinary hearing where an independent three-man panel, chaired by a QC, considered evidence for three days last week.
