Millwall Football Club have been granted an extension by the Football Association to prepare their defence in relation to the charges made against them in releation to the trouble that occured at Upton Park in August.
"We will be pleading not guilty to all charges and defending our position vigorously," remarked CEO Andy Ambler. "It is a frustration to us that we are committing significant resources of time, energy and money towards having to defend ourselves in the face of these charges.
"It is our contention that the charges are not justified, and that the resources would have been more constructively deployed in supporting the ongoing work, particularly that undertaken by our community scheme, in tackling some of the issues raised by the events of 25th August."
