As reported on Millwall Mad last month, The Gunners striker had been keen to stay with The Lions in order to improve his own game and has been a popular figure at The Den since originally joining the club back in August.
The player will now remain in Kenny Jackett's squad until the end of the current campaign.
"I'm very pleased that he'll be staying until the end of the season," said Jackett. "Jay is a very promising young player who I am sure will improve further during the second half of the campaign."
