As revealed on Millwall Mad last month, O'Hara is top of Jackett's wanted list and impressed the new boss during his recent spell with the club.
"We have expressed an interest in bringing him back," Jackett told the South London Press. "If things work out, I would love to have him back."
But Jackett's hopes could be dashed by his counterpart at Tottenham, Juande Ramos, who included the youngster in the Spurs squad that played Portsmouth at the weekend.
Its not known whether O'Hara fits into Ramos' plans or whether the midfielder was merely deployed as cover for the first team but either way The Lions could miss out yet again.
"O'Hara enjoyed a successful spell at The Den," an insider at White Hart Lane told Millwall Mad earlier today. "But unfortunately that's put him in the shop window, so to speak. If he goes, the club will want a fee for him and his performance at the weekend could price Millwall out of the market"
