Millwall boss Kenny Jackett has handed a trial to former Liverpool player John Paul Kelly with a view to signing the 21-year-old on a permanent basis.
The Dublin-born midfielder contract with Irish side Bohemians recently expired and The Lions manager was quick to offer the player the opportunity of a week's try and a possible run out with The Stiffs next Tuesday.
"John is coming over so we can take a look at him next week, with a view to playing in the reserve game on Tuesday," explained Chief scout Stuart Murdoch. "He was due to come here a couple of weeks ago, but our reserve game was called off, so we will see how things go.
"We have also had Ben Wright, a centre forward from Hampton & Richmond, training with us. He is another possibility for playing in the reserve game next week."
