The Lions lost their fourth straight League game on the trot yesterday against Luton Town and with new signing Carl Asaba already sidelined and defender Matt Lawrence likely to be out for another six weeks, The Lions are already facing an uphill struggle if they are to dig themselves out of the mire.
But despite recognising the fact that he needs to bring in more new faces, Lee feels that he may not get the necessary backing from the board.
"I don't think we deserved that", said Lee after the defeat at Kenilworth Road. "but they're at the top and we're at the bottom.
"Sometimes you don't get the rub of the green when you're down there.
"We haven't got the strength in the squad and I think we need to add new players but it's not clear what can be done in terms of transfers."
