Lee in selection dilemma

Dyer: Set to face his old club
Colin Lee has a welcome headache ahead of Millwall's clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park with almost a full squad to select from.

Bruce Dyer, Colin Doyle, Ady Williams and Zak Whitbread are all available again after Tuesday night's Carling Cup game against Birmingham City but Lee can only select five from the seven loan players he has available.

With Barry Hayles suspended and a question mark hanging over the fitness of Carl Asaba, Dyer is almost certain to start against his former club alongside Ben May while Doyle will return between the sticks having been unavailable against his parent club.

Ady Williams loan spell finishes after tomorrow's game so Lee may decide to go with newboy Zak Whitbread in the centre of defence alongside Paul Robinson. However, Williams has no regrets about joining The Lions.

"I've had a smashing time at Millwall," he told the club's official site, "and met some very nice people here. From the minute I decided to come to this club I was a Millwall player 100%.

"I pride myself in doing everything professionally, and although things haven't gone our way as much as I would have wanted during my time at Millwall, I'd like to think I've made a contribution. The perfect way to sign off would certainly be with a win against Palace."
