Sheringham has been struggling with a thigh injury since the beginning of October and at one stage looked like he'd miss this eagerly anticipated London derby. The 38-year-old former England international now looks set to play at least some part in Sunday's game.
Sheringham has yet to play against The Lions since leaving The Den for Nottingham Forest in the summer of 1991 but his decision to join The Hammers during the close season has upset many Millwall fans and the former favourite should expect a rough time if the treatment dished out to Marc Bircham at Loftus Road earlier this month is anything to go by.
