Peter Jackson: Will not be filming hobbits at The Den anytime soon

After reecent speculation linking Huddersfield Town manager Peter Jackson with the vacancy at The Den, Millwall chairman Stewart Till has uncharacteristically issued a statement denying that there has been any approach.

"Under normal circumstances I wouldn't be commenting on rumours," said Till.

"However, so strong was the assertion in a couple of papers that we would be speaking to Huddersfield about their manager that I have to state quite categorically that we have no intention of contacting the Yorkshire club on this matter and indeed, have no interest in their manager.

Millwall Mad can also reveal that the club have made no official approach to anyone at this stage, which will come as welcome news to caretaker boss Willie Donachie, who has expressed an interest in the position.
