Morison - who has notched 11 goals this season for the Championship side - is reportedly a transfer target of a number of clubs.
The 27-year-old was subject to interest from rivals Nottingham Forest earlier in December and with the January transfer window set to open, Jackett is wary of interest in his front man.
But the Lions manager insists he will not be forced into selling the player and any decision will be based purely on football logic.
Jackett told the Dartford Times: "If he (Morison) is that good, then teams will have to pay a lot of money for him. If the phone rings, then I'll deal with it then.
"We're quite stable financially, and we don't need the money to pay bills at the moment, so we're in a position to make football decisions."
