Himself and Colin Lee have decided that he needs to be playing, even if that means going out on loan. He said: "It is really no good for me to be playing bit parts for Millwall.
"You lose your fitness and your sharpness. You are much better when you are in the groove of playing.I am 29 and need to be playing at this stage in my career, and it's best for Millwall if I do.
"I had a chat with the manager and we agreed I needed to be playing games and we came to the conclusion I needed to go out on loan so I would be in the routine of playing when my chance comes. Then, if Colin needs me, and wants to call on me, I will be ready to play. I might not get a game for weeks, and then come in and not be right.
"That's why a loan move would be good." However the Lions midfielder has said he is not considering Blackpool: "I was very flattered by the Blackpool offer but because of the distance, it was not right for me or my family."
