Speaking to Millwall's official website, assistant manager Ray Wilkins made it clear that Ifill wasn't going anywhere.
"Stoke did make an offer for Paul but it was one that the chairman refused," explained Wilkins. "We are looking to improve our squad, not reduce it. We are not interested in letting Paul go, end of story."
Ifill, who scored in last night's 3-1 victory over Derby County, was unaware of the bid until he came off the pitch but has already come out and said that he is very happy to remain at the club, which may deter Stoke from coming back with an improved offer.
