Ifil: Enjoying stay
On-loan Tottenham Hotspur fullback Phil Ifil has indicated that he is prepared to spend the rest of the season with The Lions.

The 18-year-old defender, who is currently on international duty with the England U-20 side, originally signed a three-month emergency loan deal but is now keen to extend his stay after playing in the club's last five League games.

"I've learned a lot in the last few weeks," he told the South London Press. "Probably more than I would have in a year at Spurs, because of playing competitive games.

"Hopefully, if I can do well, the boss (Colin Lee) and the Spurs management will want me to stay longer I might even go through the season playing for Millwall.

"A lot of things can happen. If things work out at Millwall, but not at Spurs, you can never tell how things might end up."
