Neil Harris was today named PFA Coca-Cola League One Fans' Player of the Month, running away with the award after he was nominated as a contender last week.
December saw Harris equal Teddy Sheringham's all-time goalscoring record for The Lions and the popular striker believes that it may have had something to do with him winning the award.
"I'm a little bit suprised to have won," he told the club's official website. "Because I didn't play all the games in December. I think equalling Teddy's record at Walsall played a part."
Harris is expected to be presented with his trophy at the next home game.
