Grabban signs on

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett wasted no time in strengthening his forward line after last week's departure of Ben May and has raided local rivals Crystal Palace to secure the signature of striker Lewis Grabban for a cool £150,000.

The 20-year-old striker, who spent a loan spell with Motherwell earlier this season, has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with The Lions and could make his debut on Wednesday when Millwall entertain Nottingham Forest at The Den.

Palace manager Neil Warnock was keen to retain Grabban's services to see how the player progressed but The Lions offer was too good to turn down with the youngster's contract set to expire in the summer.

Here's hoping that he's not another Bobby Bowry...
