Colin West, Millwall's first team coach, has allegedly left the club after manager Kenny Jackett decided to change things around with regards to his backroom staff.
West, who co-managed The Lions in a caretaker capacity with Richard Shaw, was retained by Jackett when he took over from Willie Donachie earlier this season but with a relegation dogfight looming, the manager has seemingly lost faith in his coach's abilities and acted sooner rather than later.
Intriguingly, the club issued a statement earlier this evening about West's future which seems to back up the internet rumours about his departure.
