The Scottish forward had been linked with a move to The Den after being told he was surplus to requirements at Selhurst Park but the 34-year-old was quick to dispell the rumours.
"It would not be fair to the Crystal Palace fans to see me playing for Millwall - I am a Crystal Palace man, sorry," he told the Southwark News.
"(But) Kenny is a good manager who plays the game the way I like it."
Millwall's Chief Operating Officer Andy Ambler also tried to down play talk of the striker joining The Lions.
"I haven't heard that," he said. "I certainly haven't discussed Freedman with Kenny at all. Kenny seems very happy with the squad.
"I think the only area likely to need improving is a striker, but Kenny already has four and has said he wants to see how they shape up before we do anything. There is no rush.
"The chequebook is not closed," he continued. "And should Kenny want to open discussions, the Chairman will listen as he always has. The ball is really in Kenny's court."
However, should Freedman find himself without a club come August, we at Millwall Mad think he'd be singing an entirely different tune...
