Millwall left back Andy Frampton has upset the form book by being crowned the Millwall Supporters' Club Player of the Year for 2008/09.
The popular defender beat off opposition from the likes of Zak Whitbread and Gary Alexander to top the poll for this season, taking 25.6% of the votes cast and he was understandably delighted ny the news.
"This is the first Player of the Year award I have ever won and I am beside myself," he told the club's official website. "I can't believe it. Everyone has played out of their skin the whole season, so to win this award from the supporters - especially considering I had such a bad start here - is brilliant.
"Now I hope to top this by having a strong finish to the season, and promotion, of course!"
