The manager was keen to take a further look at Daniels but a call up to jury service has put the youngster's immediate future on hold although Daly has been invited back to train with the squad next week.
"Charlie is with us for the week and we will leave it until maybe early next week to see what happens there," said Jackett.
"Mick is an Irish lad who lives locally and has been coming in to train with us. He can fit in at right-back or midfield."
