Like a hazy repeat of Bournemouth away and Leyton Orient at home, it was all one-way traffic at The Den until the 70th minute when Leeds United struck against the run of play and all but wrapped up the three points that sees them move closer to the play-offs and sees us sitting uncomfortably above the relegation zone.
And the reason for that is that manager Kenny Jackett has failed to address our striking problems, relying on untried youth and out-of-contract journeymen to see us home. But a return of just three goals in seven games means that his gamble has backfired on him spectacularly. Not that he'll admit, though.
"I am really disappointed with the result because I thought there was something in there for us," he said after the game. "We did everything bar score and for 20 minutes in the second half they didn't get anywhere near us. We had a very dominant spell and the crowd got behind us but we didn't kick on in that period.
"I was scratching my head at the end - we had more shots than Leeds but still ended up with a zero in the goals column."
That could be because we have Bas Savage playing up front, a man who has been goal-shy all his career. But at least Jackett recognises we're in trouble. The problem is he doesn't appear to have the solution to get us out of it...
