Maurice Ross' stay at Millwall looks to be over after reports emerged that he has been invited for a trial with Norwegian side Viking FK.

The full-back left The Den on Wednesday to join up with the club's Spanish training camp in La Manga having struggled to secure a place in The Lions starting line-up due to a persistent ankle injury.

The former Scotland international, 26, joined The Lions in the summer after not being released by Wolves.
