Alan Dunne handed manager Kenny Jackett a welcome boost by agreeing a new one-year deal with The Lions.
Dunne, who was part of the Millwall squad that faced Manchester United in the 2004 FA Cup Final was pleased that a new contract could be hammered out between both parties.
"I'm delighted to be staying and I'm looking forward to next season already," he told the club's official website. "Losing the play-off final was a big disappointment but we're setting our sights on automatic promotion now."
