The 20-year-old Irishman initially came to The Den as emergency cover for Andy Marshall back in November before being recalled by The Blues and re-signing again over the Christmas period.
His latest emergency loan spell expired last week but despite Marshall's return from injury, Millwall boss Dave Tuttle felt that he needed some competition for the goalkeeper's jersey.
"Colin has done a great job for us since he first came here," reflected Tutts. "I'm pleased that he's decided to stay until the end of April.
"With Marsh now fit, we've got genuine competition for the goalkeeping position for the first time this season, which will hopefully bring the best out of both of them."
